You can pick up your income-tax receipts today at the designated table inside the Brothers’ Main Entrance or later on from the Treasurer’s or Board’s Offic. Brothers and Sisters, who wish to receive their receipts by mail, but haven’t yet provided the Treasurer of MAH (289 237 4899) with their contact information, are kindly asked to do so as quickly as practically possible.
Please notice that the 12:30 pm Friday Prayer will be established at 2:30 pm starting March 12th. So please change your calendars accordingly.
The MAH’s Board of Directors and the Management Committee of MAH’s Umar Mosque are going to hold a General Meeting on March 7th after Dhuhr Prayer at Umar Mosque to discuss needs and address concerns. All members of MAH are encouraged to attend.
Please be advised that the deadline for the renewal of MAH’s membership is this Monday, March 1st. You are kindly requested to fill out the application forms and return them with your fee payments only to the authorized Brothers whose names are indicated on the forms. Also, if you are a voting member, please make certain that your name is included on the Membership List; otherwise, please contact the aforementioned Brothers. For voting members, fees are $50.00 per person and $10.00 for each dependent student over 16 years of age. MAH’s Elections Day will take place on Sunday, April 25th, after Dhuhr Prayer, at MAH’s Stonechurch location. Dear members: It is your basic right as well as your incumbent obligation to choose the right people for MAH’s Board of Directors! So please participate and cast your votes.
Brothers Basil Awaidah and Mohamed Smadi are organizing a series of lectures for high school students as well as for 7th and 8th graders. These lectures will cover a range of Islamic themes and will be held every Friday night at 6 pm, starting tonight and until the night of June 11th. The lectures will take place at the Hamilton Downtown Mosque. Please encourage your children to attend.
